The LRDG consists of an ultra-thin remote desktop client a server-side application built on top of Microsoft’s Terminal Services and a trusted interface to proxy all communications between the client and server. The project will enable remote desktop access to a variety of applications, and will support remote access to audio and video devices. . POSITION DESCRIPTION This team member will be the lead developer for re-labeling services, on a Trusted Solaris 8 platform. The position will serve as the TSOL8 expert for the entire team, imparting his or her expertise on other team members. This role requires a knowledgeable and talented UNIX developer, with experience writing performance-optimized and secure, concise code. The ideal candidate will have at least ten years of experience designing and developing software applications for UNIX platforms. At least seven of those years must involve C/C++ development, and three of those years must involve development for TSOL8. The successful candidate will lead and perform expert application coding and documentation. Candidates should possess a strong knowledge of information assurance concepts, software engineering methodology, software testing, and software documentation. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Required Skills: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS · Earned degree in computer science, electrical or computer engineering · Ten years of related technical experience, with a focus on information assurance solutions · TSOL8 systems and development experience, to include DAC, RDAC, and MAC concepts (three or more years) · Very strong background in C/C++ on UNIX (seven or more years) · Verifiable experience in the development of DOD approved TSOL8 re-labeling processes · Experience with multithreaded applications and inter-process communication. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS · Experience with military or intelligence community environments, specifically with cross-domain solutions, security accreditations, and related policies · Knowledge of TSOL8 or other trusted operating systems · Some experience with any of the following: data encryption, PKI, relational databases, streaming multimedia, proxy applications, firewalls.
