Position:       Jr. Security Analyst
Type:           Permanent F/T
Closing Date:   09/26/2004

Zone Labs LLC, A Check Point Company, is seeking a Security Analyst who will 
manage the day-to-day development and maintenance of various security content 
used to develop Zone Labs services and products.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Manage customer reports of security vulnerabilities and escalate as 
appropriate
•  Monitor several security intelligence sources and initiate the 
development of content where appropriate
•  Receive security analysis content from partners and process it for 
inclusion in security services and applications
•  Analyze usage information and customer feedback regarding content to 
drive constant improvements in the quantity and quality
•  Research and develop classifications and security policies for common 
malware
•  Provide feedback to the Product Management team on existing or new 
security services
•  Create and maintain written security services content
•  Develop reports which portray security services usage statistics and 
trends



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
QUALIFICATIONS

•  Computer Science degree, equivalent, or equivalent experience
•  2+ years working for an IT security product or services company
•  4+ years experience working in an IT related capacity
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Ability to manage several projects concurrently
•  Experience working with a security product or services company
•  Strong Customer Service skills
•  Ability to work within a cross-functional team
•  CISSP or other security certification desirable


TECHNICAL SKILLS

•  Strong Windows knowledge (networking, administration, security)
•  Strong IP networking knowledge
•  Knowledge of security products such as firewalls, IDS, antivirus, 
vulnerability assessment, etc.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

•  Ability and willingness to travel occasionally ( 10%)
•  Ability and willingness to be on call 24x7 for emergency response to 
security events (expected to happen once a month on average)
•  Ability and willingness to work within a corporate business environment 
normal business hours
