The responsibilities include investigation of security vulnerabilities in Windows NT/2000 and window based applications. The job will also include research activities related to vulnerabilities. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- 5+ Years of experience in Network and Systems Security with the emphasis on analyzing application vulnerabilities, dissecting them to find the root cause. Extensive experience in using IDA Pro for vulnerability analysis. Ability to develop vulnerability exploits for testing purpose is a plus. Individuals who have discovered new application vulnerabilities or developed vulnerability exploits for testing purpose in a lab setup will be given priority. Deep technical knowledge of Windows NT/2000, and windows based applications MS SQL, Exchange, IIS, DCOM RPC, Net Bios, etc. Understanding of networking, firewalls, intrusion detection or other security related topics is a must. Candidates who have penetration testing would be preferred. Knowledge and understanding of network protocols is also highly desirable. Past experience in a company providing network security products or services will be given priority. Strong knowledge of server side and networking protocols and ability to learn new protocols. Prior programming experience with C or C++. Experience in writing perl compatible regular expressions. Familiarity with parsing tools such as lex, and yacc is a plus. GIAC certification is a plus. An engineering degree (BS or MS) is desirable.
