Quality Assurance Manager
Job description:
The primary responsibilities for the Q/A Manager are:
Ø Building & managing multi-disciplined and cross-functional
quality assurance team.
Ø Responsible for working with business and technical staff in
planning, executing, and documenting the testing of all development related to
SecureWorks’ service lines
Ø Work to minimize risk by identifying, communicating and
escalating issues appropriately to management.
Ø Define metrics and measures relating to product quality.
Ø Develop test strategies and be able to build appropriate tools
to manage automated and manual test processes and procedures.
Ø Plan and direct the writing of test scripts that will encompass
most of the functionality provided by the company.
Ø Follow and enhance developed testing processes.
Ø Document test cases to meet the desired test coverage goals.
Ø Train the quality assurance, research, development, and program
management teams in what it will take to test and sign off on the
SecureWorks’ Services.
Ø Manage black box testing, including edge cases of new software
after it has passed unit and integration testing.
Ø Managing the machines in the Q/A lab, including scheduling and
appropriation of QA resources.
Ø Document the release-ability of any software component during
testing and provide a recommendation to Operations as to whether a component
should be accepted.
Ø Recruit, retain and manage the Q/A organization
Ø Provide leadership, career development and mentoring to the Q/A
organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job requirements:
Must have:
· 5-10 years of Software Quality assurance management experience
· Technical and process expertise in understanding what should be
tested based on documentation and discussions with the developers.
· Built & managed multi-disciplined Quality Assurance Teams
successfully
· A keen eye for detail.
· Testing of network applications.
Nice to have:
· Security experience
· Six Sigma certification or similar.
