Position: Security Consultant
Type: Contract
Closing Date: 09/23/2004
Job Title: CheckPoint Firewall-1 administrator
Location: Portland, OR
A CheckPoint "engineer", is needed to support the largest CheckPoint
implementation in the northwest, outside of hosting services, and by its nature
is very complex. This person will be responsible for:
Firewall-1 administration.
Building and modifying firewall policy (rules) according to specifications
documents.
Loading FW policy, and verify that it is functioning as expected.
Development of Firewall Appendix and other requirement documents (e.g.
Visio drawings) in support of business processes.
Troubleshoot firewall problems respond to help desk cases, and customer
service.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Ideally a CheckPoint certified (CCSA or CCSE)"engineer"
4+ years security administration experience
Experience of developing “best practice” firewall policy
documentation.
It will be helpful if the person has knowledge of Secure Authentication Agent,
and LDAP integration with firewall policy, and Secure Client VPN.
