Position: Certification & Accreditation Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 09/23/2004
Smartronix, Inc., a leading IA solutions provider is looking for Certification
& Accreditation Analyst to work in Fairfax, VA.
Collect data about the current environment & prepare the environment and threat
description develop the system architecture description and define the C&A
boundary Determine security requirements.
Record findings and verify compliance with information collected and documented
with existing site C&A documents Identify and analyze vulnerabilities
discovered during evaluations Verify that appropriate security controls are in
place Summarize the level of effort necessary to certify and accredit a site
Summarize tools used and results obtained Provide recommendation on how to
correct deficiencies Conduct system penetration testing and evaluation as well
as risk management review. Perform Communications Security (COMSEC) evaluations
and system management analysis
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Technical degree (preferred) Industry Certifications such as CISSP desired
1 year minimum experience in Information Security performing network C&A
activities
Understanding of the DITSCAP process.
Development or review of System Security Plans Perform Risk Assessment desired.
Ability to Travel up to 75%
b Active Secret Security Clearance Required. /b
