Position: Information Assurance Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 09/23/2004
Smartronix, Inc., a leading provider of Information Assurance solutions, is
looking for an Information Security Engineer with expertise in Operating System
Hadening.
Qualified candidates will perform hardening of computer operating systems and
applications in accordance with government standards. Candidate must customize
hardening procedures based on application requirements and network operational
needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
Technical degree (preferred)
Industry standard certifications a plus including: MCSE, CISSP
Knowledge of DoD STIG's
Knowledge of NSA hardening procedures
Strong expertise in security features and hardening procedures for Sun Solaris
Strong expertise in security features and hardening procedures for Microsoft
Windows XP/2k3
Knowledge of hardening web enabled applications a plus
