Director of Professional Services

Overview
Reporting to the VP of Sales, we are seeking a Director of Professional 
Services to help us drive our business to the next level.  This is an 
outstanding opportunity to apply your knowledge in professional services into 
building a successful consulting practice as part of our core business.  As a 
true leader in this capacity, you’ll partner with our sales team to 
position nCircle’s capabilities, then lead the consulting team, working 
on-site at client locations, to develop comprehensive, sustainable business and 
technology availability strategies.  The type of individual we are seeking will 
have a presence suited to interacting with and presenting to corporate-level 
executives.  Handling sensitive and often confidential information, you will 
have the polish and professionalism to build trust amongst the leaders who will 
turn to you for guidance and results.  Bringing a global business continuity 
view and strong technical knowledge to the table, your listening, probl
 em resolution, and management skills will make you an invaluable asset to 
companies seeking an infallible plan for secure, cutting-edge business best 
practices.  

Specific Responsibilities
•  Successfully build and manage consulting operations success based upon 
budgetary impact, deadline achievement, customer satisfaction and ability to 
accurately report the current status of all engagements. 
•  Develop and implement repeatable enterprise consulting methodologies 
and best practices.  Mentor and certify team members on these methodologies and 
best practices to consistently maintain high quality of the delivered services.
•  Create consulting proposals and sell consulting services to enterprise 
customers. Work closely with sales and technical consulting leadership to 
manage all pre and post sales activities. 
•  Ensure high client satisfaction levels, building a strong base of 
referenceable accounts. 
•  Guarantee successful implementation of all client projects using 
professional project management principles. Serve as escalation point on all 
client issues and concerns. Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product 
Management and Post Sales Support to resolve customer issues.
•  Identify new product features and additional sales opportunities during 
customer engagements and communicate the same to product marketing, engineering 
and sales teams.
•  Interact with Sales personnel to develop proposals and pricing, as well 
as conduct sales support calls. 
•  Produce monthly project status and financial reports to senior 
management. 
•  Provide leadership to build team skills in order to provide quality and 
cost effective consulting deliverables. 



JOB REQUIREMENTS
---------------------------------------------------
•  5-7 years experience revenue responsibility while developing and 
implementing consulting methodologies in professional services organizations 
with a proven track record of working on and managing successful enterprise 
projects from inception through completion.
•  Experience working with sales teams and customers in presales, 
developing and delivering proposals, and selling consulting services to 
enterprise customers.
•  Experience with and the ability to demonstrate consultative solutions 
selling.
•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced 
degree in a technical or business field is preferred.
•  Team management experience. At least 3 years managing 5+ employees.
•  Strong business, communications and information technology knowledge. 
•  Exceptional organizational and communications capabilities (i.e. must 
be able to listen and understand, then communicate orally and in written 
format). 
•  Demonstrated operations and organization skills implementing and 
driving best practices in multi-office (including remote offices) organizations.
•  Ability to quickly learn and apply technical knowledge relating to 
company and competitor’s offerings.  
•  Experience with Network Security and/or Network products highly 
preferred.
•  Experience using TAS and Salesforce.com highly desirable.
•  Ability to excel in a fast-paced, fast-growth environment where action 
and initiative are prerequisites to performing well
•  Must be tenacious and success-oriented, a self-starter with high energy.
•  Ability to travel up to 50% globally.
