Position: Sr. Security Engineer
Type: Permanent F/T

Leader in their industry is looking for a Sr. Security Engineer.
The Sr. Security Engineer ensures the confidentiality, availability, and
integrity of systems, applications and data. He/She monitors, detects, reports
security weaknesses, and enforces information security and policies. He/She
ensures that the proper controls are in place to mitigate risks and to identify
potential vulnerabilities. Will help design, develop and administer security
systems and processes to protect information resources.
Experience engineering and implementing Intrusion Detection systems is
required. Monitor perimeter for security vulnerabilities and attacks assist in
remediation efforts. Ensures installed devices are secure from inside or
outside attacks. Perform detailed technical analysis of various security logs.
Perform forensics and detailed technical investigations. Perform incident
response activities for security events. Initiate Business As Usual scans to
maintain security perimeter Monitor information security information portals
and keep abreast of events, research and developments within the community
Participating in projects, contributing to the design/architecture. Assist in
global Information Security implementations Contribute to the strategic design
of the security perimeter via the various architecture and engineering
implementations. Experience conducting penetration studies and vulnerability
assessments of hardware, software and information systems is required Identif
ies and helps mitigate any vulnerabilities on the network Reviews and verifies
changes to the environment have been documented and approved. Performs periodic
security reviews and assessments.
The location is in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
No relocation assistance is available for this position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

5 or more years experience in Information Security
CISSP Certification (desirable)
Fluent English
