Position: Account Manager
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 09/20/2004
Our client is a leader in the development and manufacture of high-performance
recording technologies. This company designs and produces storage systems for
data derived from intelligence sources including electronic warfare,
communications, satellite, radar, sonar, telemetry, avionics, missile systems,
launch vehicles and flight tests.
Job Description: Highly motivated, results-oriented team player to oversee an
existing base of major accounts while developing and generating new business in
an assigned territory covering the greater Washington, DC area. This position
offers a very generous compensation package, including company car.
Security Clearance: Must possess active TS/SCI. Active TS/SI/TK preferred.
Compensation: $75-100K base salary + up to $50K annual commissions + bonus.
Company car, PC, cell phone and gas are also included.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

-Provide territory and account analysis reflecting market trends.
-Project business outlook based upon current and announced products.
-Develop and achieve sales goals for territory.
-Create new business proposals based on prospect needs.
-Maintain good customer relations.
-Resolve customer complaints in a proper and timely manner.
-Follow through on all commitments to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Provide monthly sales reports on activity, results and forecasts.
-Maintain control of direct company expenses.
Requirements:
-8-10 years sales experience with a proven track record of success.
-Experience selling into NSA.
-Strong computer skills including basic understand of OS and interfacing
requirements.
-Knowledge in the application of sensor and telemetry-based data acquisition.
-Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
-Excellent organization and time management skills.
