Exceptional career opportunity exists for a Director Product Management with
our ETrust Product Management team at our corporate headquarters in Islandia,
NY. Experience why Etrust is the leader in security solutions with our
Identity, Access and Threat management suite of products.
As a Director Product Management you will oversee development of marketing
activities promoting CA specific products. You will observe market trends and
competition to support sales while providing the appropriate marketing mix
definition, tailoring marketing collateral to fit local needs. You will build
relationships and hold contact with PR, Sales, Development, Analysts, User
Groups, Universities, and Institutes offering seminars/conferences. Qualified
candidates will be required to enhance / develop internal and external
communication by becoming the media spokesperson for the eTrust threat
management solutions. Provide recommendations on which external events to
attend, present CA solutions that drive business, assist all kinds of events
from the technical point of view, and create and prepare local material
(presentations, documents, and mailings, analysis) to support sales. Primary
responsibilities will be for Go-To Market Planning, Product Requirements,
Managing Key Ac
counts and Channel Relations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

The qualified candidate must possess 4 + years in product management
experiences with demonstrated industry thought leadership. Must have a broad
knowledge of Threat Management product knowledge preferably with Anti-Virus,
Secure Content Management and Intrusion Detection. Successful candidates will
possess strong management and leadership capabilities coupled with excellent
communication skills (written and oral). Strong analytical and problem solving
skills also required. Must have the ability to assess market needs to position,
price, and promote CA products. Ability to manage a team of product managers
for each of the product areas. A CISSP or MBA in Computer Science, Business or
Marketing is preferred. Understanding of Enterprise sales cycles and customers
is a must.
