Position: Sr. Security Analyst
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 09/15/2004
Are you a highly experienced project manager with proven success in the
financial services arena? Can you add to that an IT background in which you
have past experience working with various different computing platforms
including Windows NT, Unix, and most importantly IBM platforms like CICS, IMS,
and MVS (os/390)? Our client is a financial services company here in the
Seattle area who is looking for a senior level IT Security Analyst to come in
and oversee all IT auditing.
In addition to project management experience, our client is demanding someone
with a high level of internal control knowledge. Can you show a demonstrated
knowledge of internal control concepts? The ideal candidate will have
experience documenting, defining, and implementing solutions for security
audits using Sarbanes Oxley, ISO 17799, and CobiT regulation guidelines.
IT auditing experience within a Fortune 500 company is REQUIRED. This should be
paired with a degree in either a business major or computer science major. In
addition, the candidate will have a MINIMUM of 2 years experience with IT
security and auditing in not only a Windows environment, but also an IBM based
environment. ITIL certified would be ideal.
Benefits are very competitive and would include:
*Immediate 3 week vacation offering.
*0-12% bonus, with a goal of 6%.
*Option for pro-rated portion of last year's bonus if starting before September
30.
*Long-term career planning. Option to move to more IT focused role, or more
business focused role. Succession planning within Risk Management group,
beneath the IT operations group.
