The Enterprise Security Sales Engineer is responsible for technical pre-sales support of Secure Element’s enterprise vulnerability management software solutions. Responsibilities • Work with the sales team in a pre-sales role to develop and position SE solution products • During the qualifying process, work diligently to confirm that SE products meet the customer’s requirements and assist sales in technical qualification. • Throughout the proposal process, work to strategize with the account team on objectives for customer meetings • The ideal candidate must be able to inspire confidence with the customer by driving technical presentations and leading discussions to gather the right requirements to design solutions that best fit the customer’s needs. • Influence customer’s technical requirements and position products relative to the competition • Responsible for most of the technical aspects of the proposal development • Responsible for the technical management of and technical issues involving the account Areas of Knowledge: Enterprise Vulnerability Management software, Patch management software, Managed firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), File/System Integrity Checking, Firewall, vulnerability scan software. JOB REQUIREMENTS --------------------------------------------------- Requirements • Five years experience in technical pre-sales and/or system administration • 2 or more years in Information Security • PREFERRED PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS: SANS, CISSP,CNE, MCSE • Demonstrated communication skills, (verbal, written and interpersonal) • Preferred Industry Experience may vary according to Position: Public Sector, DOD, Finance/Banking, Manufacturing, Chemical, Utilities, • Excellent knowledge off security tools including patch management software, vulnerability scanners.
