Position: Application Security Engineer
Type: Permanent P/T
Closing Date: 09/19/2004
Working within this leading edge e-commerce applications development unit
developing innovative applications for mobile, TV and web based systems, you
will be responsible for architecting all security requirements for their
applications and infrastructure environments. Using your experience of security
best practices, you will design and implement secure architectural solutions,
embedding these into software development processes whilst also reviewing
current systems and projects through architectural code (to source code level)
and application security reviews. You will also perform risk reviews and
security audits of infrastructure environments, investigate all security
incidents and recommend corrective security solutions, undertake vulnerability
analysis and provide advice on technical architecture improvements within the
group. You will have a strong security architecture and review background
covering both application and infrastructure environments an ability to revi
ew coding languages and implement standards knowledge of IDS, IPS, firewalls,
cryptography, and network protocols penetration testing / vulnerability
assessment skills and strong risk analysis skills. This is an exciting
opportunity working within a leading edge team as their overall security
solutions architect.
