Position: Director, Information Security
Type: Permanent F/T
Closing Date: 09/18/2004
Needed: Strong Director of Information Security for complex distributed
environment in Seattle WA. This is a full time role in a Unix/ Linux
environment. This is going to be both a technical and high level strategy role
with a strong emphasis on hands on experience with implementing information
security solutions at most if not all levels of the infrastructure.
We are really looking for an evangelist re: the benefits security can bring to
a fairly young, agressive mid sized company. The corporate culture is fast
changing into more of a large corporate entity, but is not there yet.
There will be some mgm't/operation challenges to the implenentation of some new
security policies and procedures so we really need someone with the ability to
effectly 'teach and preach' the benefits of information security.
You must be very strong technically, but also have the business savvy to get
things done.
