Description:
The Security and Technology Solutions (STS) practice is a key component of our
Technology, Security and Risk Services (TSRS) group. We provide the building
blocks for securing and managing global security infrastructures. Employing
state-of-the-art technology, experienced teams of Ernst &Young security
professionals deliver enterprise security solutions that enabling our clients
to take advantage of emerging technologies in a secure manner. STS
professionals at Ernst & Young have extensive experience with Systems
Architecture design and validation, Implementation, System security planning,
Information Security, Security Program Development and Strategic Technology
Planning. Our core services help companies assess, design, test and validate
their security infrastructures, business processes and technology solutions.
We are currently seeking a Senior to participate in and supervise multiple
client engagement teams and other related activities in our Security
Architecture Center (SAC) located in Baltimore, MD. This professional will
serve as a fieldwork leader in an engagement team assisting in the design and
implementation of enterprise directory services. The successful candidate will
work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information
systems facilitating the business process, and will assist clients and other
STS professionals in performing information technology control and security
engagements.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement
and develop work programs, timelines, risk assessments, architectures, and
other planning and implementation documents. Work with the team to document the
business processes dependent on information technology. Ensure high quality in
client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors
of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems.
Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify
the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to
the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and
verbal presentations.
Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and
responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and
tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
Requirements:
To qualify for this position offering excellent career advancement
opportunities for the right professional, candidates must have:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Engineering, or related major
-Hands on experience with the implementation of Lightweight Directory Access
Protocol (LDAP) and X.500 based directory service solutions
-Experience with directory service products such as iPlanet Directory Server,
Novell eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, IBM Secureway, Siemens DirX,
Microsoft Active Directory and/or Computer Associates eTrust Directory
-Experience in the design and implementation of metadirectory solutions using
products such as Novell DirXML, iPlanet, Microsoft metadirectory Service, or
Siemens Metahub
-Experience in designing directory service solutions including designing
Directory Information Tree (DIT) structures, directory schema, directory
topology, data mastering and replication architecture
-LDAP client development and application integration would be a plus
-Advanced written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent leadership and teaming skills
-Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
Candidates must hold or be actively pursuing related professional
certifications such as CISSP
Ability to travel
