Check the host for proxy capabilities

Subject: Check the host for proxy capabilities
Date: Wed, 27 Feb 2008 11:44:05 +0200
Hi list.

Could anyone please suggest a tool for checking whether a host
provides proxy services on its http(s) ports? I usually use Nessus's
Anon. proxy detection plugin, is it well enough or should I use
something more specific?

Thanks in advance.
