Thanks Dave et.al. Live and learn. I'll check out the manual, and keep it in mind. Following up my suggestion to monitor traffic, a link to this site: http://www.paessler.com/prtg showed up in my gmail today. Their tool makes nice graphs, but I haven't had a chance to try it yet. There is a freeware version of it.
