I know it's just semantics, however I think there is a very important
distinction we must remain aware of here: Nessus is a "Vulnerability
Assessment" tool, like eEye Retina or HarrisSTAT VMS etc., not a
"Penetration Testing" tool.

Nessus is the way to go www.nessus.org easy to use and set up.
