Security + is worthless. The CISSP is more of an industry standard. From a technical gauge the CISSP is not much more valuable than Security+. However,it is neither geared towards management. The CISSP is primarily used for consultants and companies to proclaim how many certified individuals they have. It also may help in getting a job. (though in MHO, I would not hire someone based on it) If you are in a consulting position and not looking to move neither security+ or CISSP serves much purpose.
