Thank you list for the advice about my problem, i have sent an email to SANS ISC this morning, as one of you advised me. I have not as of yet solved the issue, since the attacks were repeated another 3 times. I am reluctant to shutdown and reinstall the server, but if things continue to happen i guess i will have to do it. Anyhow, thnx for the pointers.
