Wireless Monitoring

Subject: Wireless Monitoring
Date: Thu, 25 Jan 2007 11:49:45 -0500

Hello,

We recently setup a MPLS network spanning 26 locations over the country.
Right now I am doing research on a system to monitor each site to prevent roque
wireless routers/devices from being plugged into our network. There are only 5
network admins and we are only located in 2 of the locations, so travel to the
locations is limited. Also most locations only have a 256k link....

We have no existing wireless infrastructure and have no plans to do so...
I understand that there are utilities in Backtrack and other live boot cds/OS
that provide functionality such as this. What would you guys recommend..

Has anyone undertaken a project such as this?

The other end of the spectrum is using Cisco Secure ACS or something
similar.....

Thanks for the help

- Kevin
