Hi Kevin and all, My employer also uses SafeBoot and I can concur with the lack of any performance overhead. Another thingg that we do is when sending the laptop for a pair, removed the hard disk. This is for extra protection even though the hard disk is fully encrypted via SafeBoot. Pranav
