If you have OS X you can use the Disk Utility to 0-out the data, 7-pass or 35-pass erase on any mounted volumes. There are alot of GNU/Linux tools that are similar and can do 35-pass erase.
Can anyone recommend a tool/technique that will ensure that no data is recoverable from flash memory devices including USB drives, Memory cards, and PDAs?
