RE: Interview Questions

Subject: RE: Interview Questions

Sometimes the best way to see if a candidate is worth their weight is to
ask scenario based questions. If you give them theoretical questions
(which can be good, but anyone with resources can answer with the
textbook response), then you might not see how that person would react
when they encounter a situation.

To me, a scenario based question might give you insight to how that
person would respond, if they have a logical thought process to the
issue and then see if they can apply their resolutions in a realistic
manner. I have about forty questions, granted I do not ask them all,
but I will be happy to send a few to you and you can look at them and
alter them to fit your needs.

So all five of us in my infosec group are going to sit around a table
and take turns asking jobseekers questions.
Anyone got a list?
