Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if there is some kind of software
that uses the web cam to
record movements only?

The whole purpose of this is if one wants to monitor
an office area, for
example, without giving away the presence of the
camera, the web cam should
start recording whenever there are movements in the
frame as opposed to
continuos recording which will require a large
amount of disk space daily!

Under Linux, check out http://motion.sf.net. I've used it,
and it works wonderful!

If it wasn't for C, we'd be using BASI, PASAL and OBOL.
