I think you misread the article.  Trusted Solaris, as a standalone product tied 
to specific architectures, is being phased out.

Sun is now offering those Trusted OS features as Extentions to the general 
SunOS.  This allows the feature to plug into additional architectures.  Think 
of SELinux, in how it is a plugin to the standard Linux kernel... and not a 
seperate Linux distribution.

Support for the old Trusted Solaris will continue for eight years.. etc etc, 
i'm basically rewriting the article.
