How about not allowing any connections from the NIC unless they are
on a certain subnet, ideally VPNing into it?
Combination of a host based firewall, and permissions?
What OS is the laptop running?

from being connected to a other network and be infected with spyware,

how could I be sure that the laptop will ONLY be able to connect to
our LAN and not any other.
