Sure just click on the name you searched and this zabasearch thing gives you a bunch of web sites to search. BTW: it has my birth month and year wrong, Garbage in Garbage out -----Original Message----- From: Jeff McLaughlin [mailto:JMclaughlin@springsgov.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 20, 2005 2:44 PM To: security-basics@securityfocus.com Subject: Social Engineering /Identity Theft All, I'm doing an article my company's newsletter on Social Engineering / Identity Theft. I want to demonstrate how easy it is to get information on the web about an individual. We know name/address/phone but one can also get birthdate (m/yr), how much they paid for their house, marriage/divorce etc. Do you have any favorite sites that offer public domain info about individuals? I just came across www.zabasearch.com which was interesting as I'd not seen the birth month and year that readily available. This also is changing the questions our Help Desks asks an employee if they want their password reset. Thanks, Jeff
