Yep, I am in this degree program. It *could* be very rewarding for you, depending on what you are looking for. After all, information assurance is a very wide area. This curriculum has a couple of Cisco-based classes (more or less CCSP-SECUR and CCSP_PIX), an IDS class, a project management class, a business class, and several others. It's only 30 hours, so you can do it fairly easily. All of the classes are taught online, and ECU has been a pioneer in developing distance-learning classes. Most classes include many labs, so you get lots of hands-on, as well as a weekly chat with the instructor and class.
