Hi there I have had this problem on several occasions before and have never found anything worthwhile that is free. Advanced Office XP Password Recovery (or any another type of MS office)is excellent. www.elcomsoft.com is their site I think. It costs about £45 to register so you can have unlimited characters but you also get the capability to de-password other MS Office suite products. It has repaid itself many times over for my company!
