Go to http://www.insecure.org and see their security papers section in the left pane. (I can not write down the exact link now, sorry) they have a good tutorial on "Buffer overflow" and it really works on x86 architecture.. secondly, just search google with "Assembly Language" as search phrase, and you will surely get a good one.. there is no dearth of it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Corey LeBleu" <coreylebleu@gmail.com> To: <security-basics@securityfocus.com> Sent: Friday, October 01, 2004 7:58 PM Subject: Anyone know any good Assembly Language tutorials?
Anyone know any good Assembly Language tutorials or books? Any resources at all would help. I'm trying to learn a little about disassembly and finding security holes/buffer overflows in programs. I'm not really a programmer, so the simpler the better. Thanks. Corey LeBleu Senior Security Engineer TraceSecurity, Inc. http://www.TraceSecurity.com
