I have this book and I can't say great, but good yes. I'll tell you why, it's a good introduction for those just starting out. It get's the mind curious about alot of topics which you can use other books to cover in more detail.
This is not a book for the serious security expert but good for students and those just becoming curious about computer security.

itIt seems that all of the reviewers on Amazon seem to disagree with you.
Why do you think it was a great book, could you give us a quick review ofskillsin your own words. It is hard to make one mind with such conflicting evaluation where most reviewers on Amazon says it is garbage and you say that it is great.
Thanks
