Data Comparison: ApexSQL Diff from ApexSQL (http://www.apexsql.com) SQL Data Compare from Redgate (http://www.red-gate.com) Auditing: ApexSQL Audit from ApexSQL Entegra from Lumigent (http://www.lumigent.com/) Microsoft SQL Profiler from Microsoft (included in client tools) Viewing Transaction Log: ApexSQL Log from ApexSQL Log Explorer from Lumgent If auditing is what you are after, you can audit using the trace stored procedures built into SQL Server. A good way to start learning how to do this is to use SQL Profiler (one of the client tools) to understand what the audit capabilities are (listed above).

I was wondering if there was a simple way / tool / ... which will check my MS SQL data integrity. I explain : when performing a backup of my DBs, I want to check they have not been alterated by a hacker or an error. So I'm looking for something as LIDS or Tripwire, but which will work on MS SQL.
