i can't ping each others tun interfaces here's my settings(my 2 computers are under gentoo): on the server: tunctrl -b -t tun0 ifconfig tun0 192.168.3.2 192.168.3.1 netmask 255.255.255.252 on the client: tunctrl -b -t tun0 ifconfig tun0 192.168.3.1 192.168.3.2 netmask 255.255.255.252 ssh -w 0:0 root@maison -p 24 maison is the /etc/host for my home ip i want to achieve a vpn with a distant client.. i also have another question...is there a lightweight ssh vpn client for windows? here's my ssh version: [ebuild R ] net-misc/openssh-4.5_p1-r1 USE="X kerberos ldap pam skey tcpd -X509 -chroot -hpn -libedit (-selinux) -smartcard -static" 0 kB
