Hi, I'm new to ssh. I'm having problems with authentication - here goes... I have OpenSSH_4.1p1 and OpenSSL 0.9.7g on a Solaris 8 machine. I have put entries in the PAM.conf file for services to use the LDAP pam module for authentication. I have also set the usePAM option in the sshd configuration file to yes. I can login to the machine with ssh using a NIS account but I can't login using an account on an LDAP server. I get the following error in the messages file: # Nov 29 17:40:59 nmsstases11 sshd[9507]: [ID 800047 auth.crit] fatal: login_get_lastlog: Cannot find account for uid 45000 The uid of 45000 is correct. Can anyone help? Thanks, Stuart
