You are mistaken. Most SSH clients will, by default, send the name you are currently logged in with to the server. On Thu, 06 Apr 2006, ilaiy wrote:
No it is the server side because when you just to do a " ssh server" . It would take the user you have logged in as. The documentation says it is taken from the env " LOGNAME" but I am not very sure about this ..
