I think what is going on is I didn't build openssl 0.9.8a as "shared" and it (might be) using the header files for 0.9.8a but it looks like it definitely linking with an old openssl in /lib I just don't understand why a commercial client would connect but nothing else. (not even openssh on localhost) Kinda strange to me. Trying it again... I'll let you know :-) Take care Waitman ilaiy wrote:
