| Subject: | OpenSSH as a Library |

My name is Fred Crable and I work for the company in my signature below. Ive been a user of OpenSSH and Ive tried to adapt the openssh client for use as a library. As you know the SSH code is not well suited for such a task, let alone trying to make it thread-safe would be painful. Ive managed to squash the square peg into the round hold but I do not like maintaining the library. Im writing you to see if you know of any commercial or BSD licensed library versions of the SSH client that would be thread-safe? Any help you could provide in steering me toward a good implementation would be much appreciated. Also, if you have any comments about Peter Gutmann's cryptlib or libssh that would be helpful please post them as well.
