Not attached to tty...

Subject: Not attached to tty...

Hi all,

Iam kind of new to ssh [using version openssh 4.1 P1] and Iam trying to implement [trying to modify the ssh client code] an automated ssh client interface
which will not be through a terminal...sshd always throws an error saying "not attached to tty" ...

So, Iam using pseudo terminals to overcome this problem... But Iam not convinced....
Is there any other way by which we can disassociate this whole thing from the ttys...

regards
Bhalaji N
