Help Building Standalone OpenSSH Binaries for the NT Platform

Subject: Help Building Standalone OpenSSH Binaries for the NT Platform
Date: Tue, 7 Jun 2005 11:31:50 -0400
Hello OpenSSH,

Does anyone have a walk-through on building a vanilla installation
of OpenSSH for the NT platform? I used Cygwin and would like to use
it but it seems the built OpenSSH is too heavily dependent on Cygwin
to operate as a standalone application.

Can anyone please offer some insight on best approach with building
OpenSSH through Cygwin, yet making OpenSSH dependent from Cygwin?

  Thank you!

PS. I pretty much tried so many things yesterday and basically get
stuck on starting the service. I just feel I might be in for more
than I bargained for. I hope someone can lend a hand!
