OpenSsh 3.7p1 on SunOs 4.1.4 - minor problems

Subject: OpenSsh 3.7p1 on SunOs 4.1.4 - minor problems

Hi -
I have complied OpenSsh 3.7p1 on a SunOs 4.1.4 machine. I will be installing SSHD on a number of SunOs machines. My first question is that of the UseLogin parameter in sshd_config. I pretty much think I need/ want that set to "yes" because we use .login heavily ( csh ) to get our environment correct. When I have that set to "yes" and I ssh from a remote machine; I get the message: "login names may not start with '-'" I get a login prompt again and then I am able to login , whats happening here?
thanks
-rob
