On my router box, I only have port 22 open for OpenSSH. And being on an aDSL I regularly get connection attempts and illegal user attempts. Today, in my logs I saw something that caught my eye. **Unmatched Entries** Illegal user mrcruz from 149.1.128.198 Illegal user mrcruz from 149.1.128.198 succeeded I normally see those illegal user entries, but I don't ever remember seeing the succeeded line. So it that what I think it is, and that someone succeeded authentication as an illegal user and I've been hacked? David
