| Subject: | Do I have to generate the key on each client ? |

Dear all, I'm using OpenSSH_3.8.1p1 (latest version) on different kind of Unix machines (linux, solaris, HP-UX, etc.). I've got a question: Does a user need to generate the necessary keys on each client and subsequently incorporate the Public User Key from each client into the appropriate server's $HOME/.ssh/authorized_keys file or can't he generate the keys once from one place and then copy them in the right place ? The first solution is burdensome in our environment. Is there an utility within ssh that automate the propagation of appropriate entries in the necessary server-side $HOME/.ssh/authorized_keys ? Thanks in advance for your help. Rgds, Sabrina
