HELP !!! ssh-askpass... No such file or directory.

Subject: HELP !!! ssh-askpass... No such file or directory.
Date: Mon, 4 Oct 2004 15:35:16 -0400
All,

I am in need of some assistance. I cannot figure out what has happened. I
am running Solaris 8 on a SunFire 280R server with OpenSSH version 3.7.1p2
and OpenSSL 0.9.7d. I am getting the following error when I attempt to
logon to my remote server:

ssh_askpass: exec(/usr/local/libexec/ssh-askpass): No such file or
directory
Host key verification failed.

Now this was working just fine before I loaded a set of Sun Solaris patches
in August. I have since reloaded OpenSSH, OpenSSL, zlib, libgcc; recreated
my server keys, renamed my known_hosts files all in an attempt to fix this
issue. NO JOY !!! Has anyone seen this issue before? The file it is
looking for is not there... but why is it not there? Why hasn't it been
recreated when I re-installed my software? Are there any configuration
issues at my server that I need to adjust?

PLEASE HELP !!!

Paul Fiengo
