You'll need a network-wide auditing tool.
I believe Microsoft System Manager does this.
The TrackIt software does so as well.
I don't know of any open source / free tools, but I'm sure there's some.

I find a tool which try to find the modem by dialing all the
organization's phone numbers, that wouldn't help. I'm looking for
tools that bring all the installed modems by looking at the "Network
Connections" on the machine.
