Public airwaves aside,if you are cracking WEP passwords and using that
knowledge to,presumably, get work, expect that particular entity to ,most
probably,notb play nice.
Imagine the same scenario for you:(Picks up phone:"Hello?""Hi,we are a
network security outfit looking for work and just happened on to your
network today, and because you are using WEP,we cracked your passwords
and had total access to your network. Now,since we are a network security
firm,we thought it would be a nice gesture to point out your weakness's
and flaws in your security posture. How about I send a rep to talk to
you?"Tomorrow OK?"."
Rep goes to for appointment and promptly gets arrested.Next thing you
know, everything related to said case is being subpoenaed, including the
laptop that carried out the WEP crack to begin with.Fingers start
pointing in all kinds of directions at once("I didn't know my finger
could bend like that,huh.").many people start to feel the room getting
exceptionally warm,wherever they may be,and.............
Be very careful treading in others' swimming pools. There may be
sharks(lawyers)waiting to have something to chew on.
Regards
