Well Eduardo Di Monte

In general I will agree with you, not this time, not that I need to let you
know the details, but if it helps, well her is how, my laptop was coming
out of stand-by
the tool was running before and I did not pick it up right away, Cain and
able do not show a Icon in the process line,

So now you know

If the person who use a public Wlan in a airport it kind of his problem
some might say( not my view ), well secrets is safe with me, next time he
might not be so lucky tons of cafe's and others in Vietnam now offer free
internet access and if a company like his do not use a more mature
technology now likely they will not do later unless they get some advise
and get smarter..fast

I put this forward in order to sample what others might do, most are saying
leave it, few are saying tell the guy, other saying offer to help them and
tell them why, but most of saying leave it

Best to you

Jasper,

You don´t run a sniffer by error, so stay away from doing this again.

Eduardo Di Monte

Asunto: Sneaking a peek on Wlan in airports

I'm sure you as I have many time been in airport with public wlan access
and
by error had some kind of sniffer running ?

well I has Cain open because of a general scan I was making related to a
test, and I picked up a Pop3 account and password, I did try to find the
guy
to tell him but did not see anybody with a laptop, so what now do I email
him as asking him to update the password or do I just ignore it and let he
carry on doing this to him self and his firm.

Regards

Jasper O Waale
