Don't take it. It's not worth YOUR time. If you have to question yourself and the merits publicly then it can't be worth your time. For some of us it was. So I guess you can conclude that all CISSP's are as good as an 11 year old. That's why ISC2 required an education so at least there would be some deductive reasoning process. Most OJT'ers do things the way they picked them up, this is all a process. So if you learned the wrong way then 15 years from now when an auditor asks why you don't change to a more efficient method you answer, "that's the way I've always done it". Not that an education will prevent complacency. That's just my personal observation. Are there educated idiots? Again I ask take a look in the Oval Office. Are there smart and intelligent uneducated people? You make the choice for yourself.
