Can you please explain what do you mean by a 'good DDoS' tool? What
does it exactly do >>? I am just trying to learn what should a good tool
be able to do in a scenario such as >>DDoS. I hope its not just rate
limiting of traffic.

A DDoS mitigation solution's capability must not only be constrained to
traffic rate limiting. It must be capable of traffic diversion for
cleansing the traffic during a
DDoS attack.

Are you looking to DDoS someone or protect against/detect a DDoS?

Trin00, Stacheldraht, TFN are the DDoS tools that first sprang up years
ago.
I'm sure there are better ones out there today.

Mazu Networks and Arbor Networks make, from my recollection, good DDoS
mitigation/detection tools.
